Classification

Diamond grinding wheels can be classified according to the bonding agent as follows: resin-bonded diamond grinding wheels; ceramic-bonded diamond grinding wheels;

and metal-bonded diamond grinding wheels (bronze-bonded diamond grinding wheels).

Diamond grinding wheels can be classified according to the manufacturing process as follows: sintered diamond grinding wheels (resin-bonded diamond grinding wheels;

ceramic-bonded diamond grinding wheels; metal-bonded diamond grinding wheels); electroplated diamond grinding wheels; and brazed diamond grinding wheels.

Diamond grinding wheels can be classified according to the grinding method as follows: diamond grinding wheels for grinding diamonds; diamond grinding wheels for grinding cemented carbide (diamond knife grinding wheels);

diamond grinding wheels for grinding diamond composite sheets; centerless grinding wheels for centerless grinders; diamond grinding wheels for grinding ceramic products; diamond grinding wheels for cutting (also known as diamond cutting discs); and diamond saw blades.

Diamond grinding wheels can be classified by appearance or shape as follows: parallel grinding wheels; cylindrical grinding wheels;

cup-shaped grinding wheels; bowl-shaped grinding wheels; disc-shaped grinding wheels; edge-grinding grinding wheels; grinding discs, etc.

Applications

Due to the properties and advantages of diamond abrasives, diamond grinding wheels are ideal tools for grinding hard and brittle materials such as glass, ceramics, gemstones, and stone, as well as cemented carbide.

With the progress of the times, scientific development, social needs, and the research and development of new materials, grinding processing is constantly developing towards high quality, high precision, and automation.

The role of diamond grinding wheels is becoming increasingly prominent.

Metal-bonded diamond grinding wheels have high abrasive grain retention strength, long service life, and low wear, allowing them to fully utilize their strong cutting ability in high-speed and high-speed, high-precision grinding processes.

They are particularly advantageous in hard, brittle, and difficult-to-machine materials, and have a wide range of applications.

Diamond grinding wheels are used in almost all sectors and fields of industry, including aerospace, mold manufacturing, semiconductor manufacturing, and optical processing manufacturing.

Diamond grinding wheels are widely used for grinding ceramic materials, optical materials, aero-engine turbine blades, silicon wafers, and other products.
