Precautions for using diamond grinding wheels

Side Grinding Issues

In daily use of grinding machines, we often find operators indiscriminately using the side of the grinding wheel for grinding, regardless of the type of grinding machine or grinding wheel.

This is a serious violation of operating procedures. Grinding wheels designed for use on the circumference surface should not be ground using their sides.

These wheels have high radial strength but low axial strength; excessive force can cause the wheel to break, potentially resulting in injury. This practice should be strictly prohibited.

Front-Facing Operation Issues

Many operators habitually face the grinding wheel directly, believing this allows for greater force application.

However, this is strictly prohibited.

According to operating procedures, when grinding workpieces, the operator should stand to the side of the grinding wheel, never operating directly in front of it.

This prevents injury from flying or broken grinding wheels in case of malfunction.

**Problems with Excessive Force During Operation**

Some operators, in pursuit of faster grinding speeds, apply excessive force when using grinding machines.

This is a highly dangerous practice.

All grinding wheels have inherent strength; such excessive force can easily cause the wheel to break or even fly out and injure someone. This is a prohibited behavior.

Problems with Shared Operation

In actual daily operations, it sometimes happens that two people share a single grinding machine to meet production targets or save time.

This is a serious violation of operating procedures and should be strictly prohibited.

If one grinding machine is insufficient, additional grinding machines can be used; sharing a single grinding machine is not permitted.
